Idyllically located over the margins of Douro, VN Restaurant & Wine Bar is one of the gastronomic references in Porto, with a proposal of excellence, focused on the product and the best traditional references in the North of Portugal.

The restaurant presents a gastronomic proposal of the finest quality, bringing to the table the best traditions of Douro, Trás-os-Montes, Minho and the Atlantic Ocean that bathes Portugal: Alheira de Mirandela IGP, fresh fish from Matosinhos Market and the exclusive Vaca velha from Trás-os-Montes are some of the classics available for tasting.

Besides a well-maintained cellar and a service of excellence around wine, VN Restaurant is wine, and therefore the dishes of the restaurant were especially created to harmonize with the Ports and Douro DOC wines masterfully produced by the Symington family, as well as with the wines from their friends, Portuguese and from all around the world, with whom they share the passion for this noble product.

VN Restaurant main dining room looks directly onto the barrel cellar, with ancient pine beams supported by cast-iron pillars, which date back to 1890.You can find an historic and atmospheric setting, which combines the best food the city of Porto has to offer with an immersive wine experience.

VN Restaurant also has a winter garden. From there you can take a look, onto the ancient, UNESCO World Heritage, city of Porto, the Douro river and the unique Dom Luís I Bridge.
